Seafood Paste

This fine paste, made from shrimp and green-lipped mussel, is the optimal rearing food for almost all fish in our aquariums. It forms a nutrient-rich food film in the aquarium or rearing boxes, providing the essential proteins needed for the healthy development of juveniles and for feeding more delicate species.

The food is shaped into 5-10 mm balls and placed in the rearing box or tank, where the thin food film at the bottom sustains young fish. It has proven especially beneficial for species such as Aspidoras, Corydoras, Panaqolus, Loricaria, and many other catfish.

However, due to the high protein content, overfeeding can result in fatty degeneration, despite the food’s good digestibility and balanced fat levels.
