PRODUCT Details

Assorted Balloon Molly are a mixed group of balloon molly fish offered in a variety of colours and patterns. Balloon mollies are a selectively bred form of the common molly (often Poecilia latipinna or related species) with a distinctive rounded, “balloon‑shaped” body and an upright swimming style that makes them stand out in the aquarium.
These assorted balloon mollies are hardy, active and generally peaceful, making them a great choice for community tanks with other compatible tropical fish. Their constant movement and bright colours add life and interest to the mid and upper levels of the aquarium.
Because they are livebearers, Assorted Balloon Molly will often breed in the home aquarium, producing small fry that can be raised separately if you want to grow the group.

  • Tank size:
A minimum of 60–75L is recommended for a small group of Assorted Balloon Molly, with more space preferred for larger groups.
  • Water parameters (general guide):
    • Temperature: around 24–28°C
    • pH: roughly 7.0–8.2
    • Prefer harder, more alkaline water; a small amount of mineral hardness is beneficial
