PRODUCT Details

Assorted Angelfish 4/5cm are young Pterophyllum scalare offered in a mixed selection of colours, patterns and fin types. The angelfish is one of the most recognisable and popular aquarium fish species, and over many years of captive breeding, a huge range of assorted angelfish varieties has been created from the original wild form.
Today, hobbyists can enjoy angelfish types such as pearlscale, veiltail, marbled, platinum and many other colour morphs. It can be hard to choose just one type for your aquarium, which is why the assorted angelfish 4–5cm option is so appealing – it allows you to fill your tank with a mix of different colours and patterns.
At around 4–5cm, these juvenile angelfish are still growing and developing their adult body shape, finnage and markings. As they mature, they become elegant, tall‑bodied freshwater angelfish that make a striking centrepiece in planted and community tanks.

  • Tank size:
Start with at least 90L+ for a small group of Assorted Angelfish 4/5cm, with larger tanks recommended as they grow.
  • Water parameters (general guide):
    • Temperature: around 24–28°C
    • pH: roughly 6.5–7.5
    • Soft to medium hardness is usually preferred
  • Diet:
These assorted angelfish are not fussy eaters. Offer a varied diet of quality pellets or flakes, plus frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms and daphnia to support growth and colour.
  • Temperament:
Generally peaceful, but like all Pterophyllum scalare, they can become territorial as they pair up or when breeding. Avoid housing them with very small fish that may be seen as food, or with aggressive fin‑nippers that may damage their long fins.

Notes on Buying Assorted Angelfish 4–5cm

Because these are assorted angelfish 4–5cm, individual colours, patterns and fin types will vary from fish to fish. At the juvenile stage, some markings may still be developing, so you can expect their appearance to continue changing as they grow into adults.
