What Aquasonic Fungonex 100ml Is Used For
Assists in the treatment of fungal diseases in freshwater fish
Targets fungal growth that appears as:
White or grey threads on skin and fins
Cotton‑wool‑like tufts on the body and fins
Ideal for community tanks and display aquariums where early intervention is critical
Directions & Important Use Notes
From the product details:
Do not use on fish intended for human consumption
A 25% water change is recommended before starting treatment
Ensure aquarium water is well aerated throughout the treatment period
Remove activated carbon from the filter for the duration of treatment—carbon will remove the medication from the water and make it ineffective
This product contains a dye that can stain if spilled, so handle with care
Always follow label instructions and monitor fish closely during treatment.
Dose Rate
Standard dose:
Add 5mL of Aquasonic Fungonex per 20 litres of aquarium water
Sensitive species:
For tetras, baby fish and scaleless fish (such as loaches), use a reduced dose of 5mL per 40 litres of aquarium water
Additional notes:
Repeat the dose after 3 days if needed
To estimate tank volume in litres: multiply length x width x water height (in cm) and divide by 1000
Storage & Disposal
Store below 30°C (room temperature)
Replace the lid tightly after each use
Dispose of the empty container by wrapping it in paper and placing it in household garbage
